Voices subtle and enticing whisper words that sound like truth,
Leading carefully, inviting me to paths I would not choose.
They don’t know what I have witnessed of the Savior’s loving grace.
I have felt salvation’s purpose filling my unshaken faith.
Holding on with might as a Child of God,
I will not be moved!
When temptations come, sin is all around,

Try to tell me it’s too late now, that my course is set in stone.
Try to tell me there’s no banquet for the hunger in my soul.
I remember all the words now filled with hope and joy and peace.
They are brimming with the promise if a never ending feast.
