I'm Following My Savior

When I read in the scriptures, of Jesus Christ above,

I think about his teachings and his perfect life of love.

He treated all with kindness, he loved his enemies,

He taught that we must help “the least of these.”

Chorus:

I’m following my Savior in all I do and say,

I learn thru his example, the way to live each day.

I show love unto others, I serve and do my part,

Because I love my Savior with all my heart.

Should someone act in anger, and hurtful words they speak,

I try to be a peacemaker and turn the other cheek.

I strive to show compassion, I want to choose the right,

I seek to walk each day within his light.

Jesus healed the leper; he helped the blind to see,

He worked so many miracles, and showed great charity.

I, too, can help work wonders, for I can be his hand,

Each time I love and serve my fellowman.
