Jesus Lay Sleeping
Jesus lay sleeping softly by Mary.
Shepherds and wise men now worship this King.
Humbly they kneel by His bed.
They followed the star—to Jesus it led.
O Heavenly Father I want to thank thee
for sending thy Son on the earth to save me.
And as I remember, especially today,
I’ll think of His teachings and live His way.
