Lift me up, Lord Jesus; Come speak with me again,

Though I’ve been lifted up in hollow pride

Now my walls are falling, My pretense fades away,

And more than ever, I feel so alone.

Thou who raised up Jarius’ daughter

Thou who lifted up the lame,

Miracle of mercy through thy name.

Thou wast lifted on the cross that all might look to Thee and live;

I life my eyes and beg Thee to forgive!

Lift me up, Lord Jesus; Come take me home again;

Empower me to go and sin no more.

Thou has walked among the lowly

And fed the multitude, and cleansed the aching lepers from their shame

Who prayed for me upon thy face
