Lord, help me as I seek to follow in Thy way.
Grant me the wisdom I need, I humble pray.
That I may see my brother as he is in his heart.
Oh, please lend strength and courage, Thy grace to me impart.
Lord, fit me to the mantle of pure charity.
Please give me eyes to see my sister’s hidden pain.
Help me to lift her from grief to joy again.
I want to shoulder burdens and ease the load of care.
That my friend, through me might know that Thou art always there.

When I have shaped my will to echo thine above
Then will my soul be filled with everlasting love.
And I will see my brother as he is in his heart.
Then we will walk together to Thee, where we had our start.
