My Father’s Care
1. Once long ago before my birth I learned that I must prepare
To face the trials here on earth and rely on my Father’s care.
And in the darkest hours of life, when it feels as if no one is there,
I will not fear when I’m safe in my Father’s care.
Once again in my Father’s care.
2. When mists of darkness cloud the way and I face temptation’s snare,
I must be firm and place my trust everyday in my Father’s care.
And when my time on earth is through, I may realize my innermost prayer
That I return once again to my Father’s care.
Once again in my Father’s care.
