Now Is Your Season (Sherwood)
Solos to Sing, Submitted Music (1992-1997)
To everything, we’re told there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven.
From a child you have frown with a spirit of your own.
You have a peaceful knowledge of his plan.
For everything, we know there is a reason, and your purpose is known in the Heavens.
And like those of long ago, you’ll reap all that you sow.
My son, I see in front of me a man.
This is your season, you are His servant.
In his vineyard you will tend and till and sow.
Now is your season, He’ll guide His servant.
With charity and love, you’ll teach until they know.
With patience and with love you now must go.
To everything. And for those who search and wait, the blessings will be great.
The fields are white, the harvest time has come.
To everything, with faith there is a reason, and like Father who sent you from Heaven.
I, too, will watch you go, with faith I also know
A great heritage awaits you, go my son.
This is your season, you are His servant.
In his vineyard you will tend and till and sow.
Now is your season, He’ll guide His servant.
With charity and love, you’ll teach until they know.
With humility you’ll reap all that you sow.
With charity and love, you’ll teach until they know.
With tenderness and love, I watch you go.
