Oh, How Resplendent (Dickson)

Oh, How Resplendent (Dickson)

Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1992-1997)

Oh, how resplendent shone the day

When God drew back the veil

That shrouded deep the Gospel’s light:

Let truth once more prevail!

The mighty Father and the Son

Came down in radiant blaze,

Revealed to man and ushered in

The glorious Latter days!

Oh, how that light rekindled flames

That burned in honest hearts,

As truth has ever kindled fires,

And new light yet imparts!

And over all the earth it spreads,

In surging, fiery gleams,

And soon the whole great world will glow

With bright, celestial beams!
