Oh, Lord, Accept My Tenth

Oh, Lord, Accept My Tenth

Submitted Hymn Texts, Submitted Music (1992-1997)

Oh, Lord, accept my tenth this day

As token of my gratitude;

All that I have belongs to Thee,

All blessings rich and good.

Yet, even as I give my tenth,

I find a hundred blessings more

Are overflowing in my cup

From heaven’s gracious store.

Forever am I in Thy debt,

My tenth I give in thanks to Thee;

May each tenth find me through earth life

A heartbeat nearer Thee.

For Thou didst not withhold Thy Son,

In love Thou gavest all, not part;

Oh, Lord, accept my tenth this day,

My tenth and all my heart.
