Oh Lord, my God in Heav’n
I come to thee this hour,
To beg of thee thy promise giv’n
To answer prayer with power.
I ask thee for thy light,
Illumine now, my way,
And share with me thy perfect sight
To find my path, I pray.
Please bless me with thy love,
And heal my wounded soul,
That through thy mercy from above
My faith can make me whole.
Dear Father, hear my plea!
Send comfort and release.
I bring my burden now to thee
And in its place find peace.
