On This Holy Easter Morning (Moffit)
Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1992-1997)
On this holy Easter morning,
Let hosanna’s loudly ring.
Ever mindful of our Savior,
Thankful hearts his praises sing.
With his blood on Calvary’s mountain,
Giving all that He could give.
We shall praise his name for ever,
For through Him we all shall live.
He, the blessed of the Father,
Died that we might ransomed be.
Stood the pain of crucifixion,
That we’d live eternally.
Bless us on this day, Dear Father,
As we sing, His name be praised.
He, whose sacrifice did save us,
He who from the tomb was raised.
May we always show Dear Father,
Daily gratitude to thee.
And remember all the suffering
Of Thy Son on Calvary’s tree.
And live worthy of Thy blessings,
Striving as thy words implore.
Loving those who dwell among us,
In Thy name forever more.
