One Clear Night

One Clear night, one bright star, led the shepherds from afar,

To a manger where He lay a little baby in the hay

A virgin mother by His side, an earthly father to be His guide

Who is this baby that’s come to earth,

A humble stable for His birth?

He is Jesus, the chosen one,

Heav’nly Father’s begotten Son, come to earth to show the way

We can return to him some day.

He was gentle, He was kind…

He was pure in heart and mind

He taught the old of thing He knew,

And the words He spoke were true

He healed the sick, the lame could walk, the dead would rise,

The mute would talk.

He taught he children how to love, and serve our Father up above!

For He was Jesus, the chosen one,

Heav’nly Father’s begotten Son,

Come to Earth to show the way

We can return to Him someday!

He is Jesus the chosen one,

Heav’nly Father’s begotten Son,

If we follow in His way we can return to Him someday

He is the way.
