Our Savior in Gethsemane (Mead)

Our Savior in Gethsemane (Mead)

Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1992-1997)

Our Savior in Gethsemane

With perfect love for all,

Paid sin’s great price in agony.

As ransom for the fall.

Through Him the font of grace was sprung,

Through Him came power to save,

Through His great life and death was won

The victory o’er the grave.

Come let us worship and adore,

To Him all reverence give,

Who took our guilt, Himself, and bore

Our pain that we might live.

Through Him can we be lifted up,

Through Him are we made free,

Through Him Who drank the bitter cup,

The Man of Galilee
