Share the Gospel (Moffitt)

Share the Gospel (Moffitt)

Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (1992-1997)

We’ve been called to serve our Father, Called to spread his word with care,

Tell of Two who came to Joseph, As he knelt in fervent prayer.

God had come again in mercy, with His Son to bring His light.

We, His children, must live worthy, Serving Him with all our might.

With the light of truth go forward, Live our lives in service sweet,

Share with others love eternal, from that goal we’ll not retreat

We will share our light and knowledge, fill our mission faithfully,

Gladly share our testimony, Of our Lord’s sweet victory.

We will teach the Book of Mormon, We will share the gospel plan

How the golden plates were buried, how they were revealed again.

We will share the gospel goodness, We will live to sing God’s praise,

We will tell the wondrous story, all revealed in latter-days.

Missionaries in God’s army, we will fight for truth and right,

Telling how another witness, brought us further truth and light.

We will take the gospel message, with God’s spirit from above,

We will teach of Christ-like living, By our faith, our works, our love.
