1. The scriptures can lead me to Jesus
By teaching me His way,
By helping me want to be
Like He is ev’ry day.
The scriptures can lead me to Jesus,
For they can change my heart,
So I desire to live the higher
Law right from the start.
2. The scriptures can lead me to Jesus
By helping me to see
The wondrous love shown above
In what Christ did for me.
The scriptures can lead me to Jesus,
Who only wants to bring
Us all back home to Father’s throne,
Where we will praises sing!
