He wants us as a little child Who’s teachable and pure;
To take hold of the iron rod and make our footsteps sure.
With loving care He’s shown the way, now we must pass the test;
The way we live our lives will tell just how much we’ll be blessed.
The path is clear the message strong, our time is now at hand;
The more we listen and obey, the more we’ll understand.
In pow’r and glory we can reach our mansions in the sky
Where God’s prepared a home for us beside his throne on high.
The way to heaven we will find by following His plan;
With faith and hope and charity we’ll do the best we can.
So let’s rejoice and set our goal for that celestial place
Where we can dwell in peace and love, and see our Savior’s face.
