This Monument of Faith

This Monument of Faith

Music for Choirs, Submitted Music (2012-present)

This monument of faith we’ve build to Thy most glorious name.

Accept this dedication Lord, our off’ring wilt Thou claim?

Impart Thy spirit, sanctify, approve this house of prayer.

Thy tabernacle wilt Thou bless, protect it with Thy care.

This edifice of beauty framed to learn of Son of Man.

O help us God to heed the law of Thy salvation plan.

Partake of emblems, teaching truth, and singing praise to Thee.

We worship Lord, Omnipotent, upon the bended knee.

In worshipful communion, mingling with the faithful Saints.

We’ll offer up our sacraments upon this sacred day.

Preparatory to His coming here we will abide

With broken heart and contrite soul, His Presence to reside.

Now Saints assemble, Zion gathers, cov’nants fill the earth.

May we be numbered, purged and clean and prove eternal worth.

The Bridegroom cometh, Rock of Ages, tribes of Israel sing.

Enthroned and crowned with righteousness, all glory to the King!
