When I use my hands in serve, I feel Jesus by my side,
As I reach out unto others, He will always be my guide.
When I ease another’s burdens, brush tears from someone’s face,
I can be His hands
We are His hands
When we serve one another
When we show love,
And sacrifice our time,
When we reach out to someone in tender,
sweet compassion, we feel his love divine.
When we help to feed the needy, or we tend to the informed,
As we nurture precious children, or we teach God’s Holy Word,
In the ministry of angels, with charity and love,
I can be His hands
We are His hands
When we serve one another
When we show love,
And sacrifice our time,
When we reach out to someone in tender,
sweet compassion, we feel his love divine.
We are his hands, when we help build His Kingdom
Our work combined, results in strength untold
And when we find His lost sheep, and gently love and guide them,
Back to his loving fold, we are his hands.
