What Can I Give Him?

What Can I Give Him?

Solos to Sing, Submitted Music (1998-2006)

Once in a stable a sweet babe was born,

Sent as a gift from our God above.

Wise men brought treasures and shepherds adored;

What can I give Him? How can I show my love?

Humble and helpless, yet Lord of the earth,

Love came to men on that blessed night.

Freely He offered His life of great worth.

How can I show Him? How can I follow His light?

Just as He cared for each suffering soul,

I can give freely of all that is mine.

Think how He lifted and made poor hearts whole!

I can give caring; I’ll give Him my time.

Angels gave glory and shepherds proclaimed

Thanks for a Savior, Messiah, King!

Share the glad tidings, Rejoice in His name!

How can I praise Him? How can my gratitude sing?

Just as He prayed to his Father divine,

I can remember Him in every thought,

Think how His will with His Father was one?

I’ll be obedient; I’ll give Him my heart.

He is the Light for the world to see,

I’ll share His light and walk in His ways.

Jesus, my Savior, gave His life for me,

I’ll give Him my life, thanking Him all my days.

I’ll give myself to Him.
