When I do what’s right I feel good. I feel happy when I do what I should.
The scriptures tell me so, and in my heart I know. When I do what’s right I feel good.
But when I do what’s wrong I feel bad. When I don’t obey I always feel sad.
And no excuse I make can take away the ache. When I do what’s wrong I feel bad.
So I will do what’s right and feel good. I’ll feel happy when I do what I should.
I’ll have a happy heart, if I will do my part, so I’ll do what’s right and feel good.
