Sometimes I need direction, as I go along my way,
Some help to make the choices that I’m facing every day.
There’s One who loves me best of all,
He’s promised I can always call on Him
And He will guide me with His love.
Chorus: W hen I pray, I can feel the spirit near.
When I pray, my Heavenly Father always hears.
Anytime, anywhere, I can always say a prayer.
When I pray then I am never alone.
Verse 2: Sometimes I may feel frightened when the world is not at peace.
Sometimes a hurt or worry comes, it seems will never cease.
But I don’t face it on my own,
My Father loves me and has shown
The way that I can call on Him above.
Verse 3: Sometimes my heart can feel so full of hope and peach and love,
I want to share my thanks for tender mercies from above.
I close my eyes and softly say
My “thank you” for His gifts each day,
And feel the Spirit whisper of His love.
