When Jesus Was a Boy (Wight)
Solos to Sing, Submitted Music (1992-1997)
Do you think Jesus sang as he went out to play?
Did he hum a bright tune as he went on his way?
What kind of sons did they sing way back then?
Back before his Church was established again?
Did he whistle a tune as he hammered and sawed?
Did he sing about kittens and lambs that baa’d?
We don’t know what he sang about,
Maybe flowers and birds or a little green trout?
The beauties of nature would make his heart sing
Just like you and I, when we see signs of spring,.
Heav’nly Father made wonders for us to enjoy
And especially for Jesus when he was a boy.
