With a grateful heart I greet the sunrise,
And drink in the beauty of the day.
I open my ears to hear the music
Nature sings with joy on its way.
With a grateful heart I hold my loved ones,
And I feel the touch of the Master’s hand.
I want to be more like our Savior,
Full of love for life’s journey
This is the day the Lord hath made,
Let us rejoice and be glad

Rejoice and be glad in This very day.
This very hour. This very moment, rejoice!
This is the day the Lord hath made.
I will live it with a grateful heart.
With a grateful heart I kneel each morning
Thank the Lord for all He does for me.
And then I arise renewed to serve Him,
Finding joy in life’s journey
