From the Sacred Grove near Palmyra, New York, Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles testifies that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. He shares his experience in gaining a testimony of the First Vision and declares that anyone sincerely seeking their own testimony will receive a personal witness of the truth. Elder Christofferson joins his testimony with that of the Prophet Joseph Smith in bearing witness of the living Savior. “I attest that Jesus is the Holy Messiah, who was prophesied to come and who, as further prophesied, will come again to reign upon the earth,” Elder Christofferson says. “I too bear witness that He lives.”
