In April of 2012, Elder David A. Bednar visited the Saints in Mexico. “In the faces of the people, you see the countenance of the Savior. … It’s reflected in their eyes, their smiles, and in their sweet, earnest testimonies,” he said.
Elder Bednar sees nothing but good for the future of Mexico, where the influence of good leaders makes Mexico an important center of strength for the Church. “In every congregation and every meeting, there’s a spirit of authenticity and spiritual simplicity,” he said.
