PROJECT: EnglishConnect Awareness
SPONSORED by: CES Higher Eduction, EnglishConnect
SCOPE: To promote the EnglishConnect program. EnglishConnect helps participants expand their opportunities through developing English skills in an environment of faith, fellowship, and growth. Communicate the benefits of the program through social media, paid media, and the Gospel Library.
SHOOT DATE: Between December 3 - 15, 2024
TIME COMMITMENT: One half-day (6 hours or less)
LOCATION: Wasatch Front, Utah
RATE: $400/half-day, plus 20% agency fee, if applicable
SEEKING: Members and Friends of the Church, male and female, ages 18-30; to explain what the program is about, benefits, and to extend an invitation to join the English Connect program.
HOSTS
- Korean Host speaking English.
- African Host speaking French.
- Brazilian Host speaking Portuguese.
- Angola or Mozambique Host speaking Portuguese.
To Apply
STEP 1: Current photos
Take 4 current photos of yourself: (1) headshot; (2) profile; (3) full body; (4) full body profile. A digital photo with your phone is fine.
STEP 2: Video Audition
This is an audition. Please memorize this AUDITION SCENE (click this link) in your native language (or English, if you are Korean) and perform it to camera.
- Introduce yourself: full name, where you grew up, where you live now, and agency name (if applicable).
- Then perform this AUDITION (click this link) in your native language (or English, if you are Korean), directly to camera.
- Upload your video to an online video sharing site like YouTube or Vimeo and copy the “share” URL address.
IMPORTANT: Set the privacy settings to “Unlisted” (not “Private”) or “Anyone with a link can view,” so we’ll be able to view it without a password.
When you’re ready, please click Apply to upload your video and current photos.
