Project: Temple Attendance Photoshoot
A new exhibit at Temple Square in Salt Lake City will feature photos depicting people of all ages as they prepare for, attend, and think about the temple in their lives. While primarily a visual exhibit, it will also include some text briefly quoting people’s thoughts about their temple attendance and covenants.
Tell Us About the Temple!
There are so many ways to experience the temple—with family, friends, a church group, or as an outing on your own. How do you prepare? What’s your reason for going? How do the temple and your covenants impact your life?
We seek youth and adults (individuals, couples, or families) in the Cardston, Alberta area who will tell us about how the temple is significant to them. You may have attended the temple for any ordinance, or you may be preparing to go for the first time! We want to capture your story.
Selected candidates will be part of a photo shoot in June 2024, in and around their home and the Cardston temple. Their stories and photos may be selected to be shared in a special exhibit at the new Salt Lake Temple Visitors’ Center.
Current digital snapshots are preferred. Photos must be well lit, without obstructing accessories like masks, sunglasses, or hats.
In 2-5 sentences, you’ll write why you love the temple. You can share a specific experience or what the temple has meant to you over a lifetime. You can also use this field to explain any of the photos of your home you have included.
