Answering My Gospel Questions Course (REL 280)
Answering My Gospel Questions (Rel 280) is now available. (See the language materials below.) This course is a result of listening to young adults, many of whom are looking for a forum to ask gospel questions, find reliable information, and discuss their questions with each other.
The first few lessons of the course teach principles and a pattern for seeking answers. Then, using these principles and the study pattern, students will choose topics to discuss during the remainder of the course. Students will learn how to use several church resources like Topics, Life Help, General Conference, and the Newsroom. They will also practice skills like “How to Disagree without Becoming Disagreeable” and “How to Assess the Reliability of Sources,” giving them the tools they need to continue answering their own questions and the questions of others throughout their lives.
You can find the Teacher Material and a Quick-Start Guide on the institute course materials page.
These materials can also be found in the Gospel Library. Select Books and Lessons, then Institute.
