Historic Addition: Life Preparation Lessons Now Integrated Worldwide
“These life preparation lessons are designed to help you strengthen your relationship with God and receive His help …He loves you and will help you in ways you could never have imagined.” (Elder Clark G. Gilbert, “Preparing Youth—Gospel-Centered Life Preparation”).
Christ-centered and scripture-based Life Preparation lessons are now part of Seminary curriculum worldwide. Designed to help youth develop life skills rooted in gospel teachings, these lessons address essential topics like self-reliance, physical and emotional health, mission and temple preparation, and planning for future education and employment. Students can generally expect one or two Life Preparation lessons to complement their traditional seminary lessons each week, making seminary a more holistic resource for spiritual and practical growth.
