“Divine Destiny,” Ensign, Aug. 1971, 55
Divine Destiny
The deep, dynamic dream
of willful wonder
that springs unasked
within the sleeping mind
will shed its vagueness
in a voice of thunder
and rise to be
delightfully defined.
The unheard voice
that speaks
in whispers only,
the thought
that never yet
has found a word
will not remain
forever mute and lonely;
profoundly felt,
will be profoundly heard.
And all the unseen world
that waits within
for our discovery
or recognition
will be revealed
in splendor as we win
the honor of our bright,
divine position.
