Match or Mix?
Even a two-year-old can master this activity to help Mom on laundry day.
Cut from magazines pictures of children’s clothing that belong in drawers such as socks, panties, and pajamas. Glue the pictures in the bottoms of shoe boxes and place the boxes in the drawers, or tape the pictures in the drawers.
Place clean laundry in each child’s laundry basket. He can then take his own basket of clothes to his room and put them away by matching the clothing with the pictures. The empty basket is used for soiled clothing, which Mom just picks up on laundry day, instead of searching endlessly for scattered clothes that need washing. Kathy Blomquist, Salt Lake City, Utah
