“Temple Snow,” Ensign, Jan. 1986, inside front cover
Temple Snow
To one who loves winter
this pilgrimage is so white.
Gone the cut and color of difference,
the clatter of humanity
that wars with birdsong
and gentle thought.
Hearts toward heaven,
voices hushed to sacredness,
focus in unity,
we are one—
all alike before Him,
as snow shapes line to line,
white truth sifting softly,
drink for our seasons.
