New Relief Society Brochure Available

“Relief Society—A Blessing for Every Woman,” a new pamphlet explaining the mission of Relief Society is now available at distribution centers in English-speaking areas of the Church.

The brochure lists the purposes of Relief Society as helping women: (1) have faith in God and build individual testimonies; (2) strengthen families; (3) render compassionate service; and (4) sustain the priesthood. “Although the purposes of Relief Society are not new, this pamphlet is the first time our mission has been so stated,” according to Barbara W. Winder, Relief Society general president.

The colorful pamphlet (stock no. PXRS4567) also provides a basic introduction to Relief Society and may be purchased through distribution centers for ten cents each.
