[Pioneer Day]

Pioneers marched through the Salt Lake Valley once more on July 24 during the annual Pioneer Day parade. The celebration marked the arrival of the fist group of Latter-day Saints in the valley 143 years ago. Members in many areas also found ways to celebrate, with activities ranging from picnics and heritage programs to athletic events and rodeos. (Photo by Don Grayston, Church News.)
