With the Wellsville Mountains to the west, the Logan [Utah] Temple is located on the eastern bench overlooking Cache Valley. It is still nestled among a panorama of natural scenery though the temple was built and dedicated more than a century ago. Approximately seven years of construction and the labor of 25,000 people readied the temple for its initial dedication on 17 May 1884 by President John Taylor. The temple was later extensively remodeled, then rededicated on 13 March 1979 by President Spencer W. Kimball.
