O beloved, now departed
from the world, sweet release.
Cares of life, pain and sorrow
harm no more, rest in peace.
Spirit fled to realms eternal,
with the Savior to repose.
Watching, waiting, till I follow,
reuniting at life’s close.
O departed, loved so tender,
now with loved ones far away.
In the arms of Heavenly Father,
never leave, always stay.
Child of God, loved forever,
may your memory never cease.
O beloved, now departed
from this world, rest in peace.
