Find Your Next Song of Praise
Singing songs of praise has been an important part of Latter-day Saint worship since the earliest days of the Restoration, and modern tools make this music more accessible than ever before.
One such resource is the Church online music library, which contains compositions and arrangements for soloists, small groups, choirs, and instrumentalists. During this joyful time of year, when we are celebrating the Resurrection of the Savior and the Restoration of His Church, we hope you’ll enjoy exploring these four arrangements from the online library.
Easter
I Stand All Amazed
While this intermediate piano solo starts and ends simply, the middle section features beautiful musical momentum, reminding us that the Savior’s Atonement and Resurrection impact each of us personally.
That Easter Morn
Jesus Christ conquered death for each of us, and His Atonement also helps us conquer fear. These messages are woven throughout this intermediate choir arrangement. Optional organ and string quartet parts may be added to the piano accompaniment.
The Restoration
Oh, How Lovely Was the Morning (Joseph Smith’s First Prayer)
We are celebrating the First Vision this month. Here’s an arrangement with four-part harmony that would help your congregation continue to feel the Spirit of that historic event.
This Is My Beloved Son
A simple choir arrangement of a beloved children’s song, this piece ties together the topics of covenants, the Restoration, and the Savior. It is mostly unison, with some four-part harmony.
