Learning from the Story of Korihor

Alma’s encounter with Korihor offers us lessons that can help us as we face modern counterparts to Korihor and his teachings.

  • Korihor’s Charisma: The Philosophies of an Anti-Christ.” This Ensign article describes how we can stay anchored to our testimonies when confronted with teachings that seek to weaken faith, just as Alma did in dealing with Korihor.

The misguided approach that the Zoramites took to prayer can serve as a reminder to us to use a much different approach—to pray in humility and from the heart.
