A Walk in Wonder
Want to walk in wonder?
Come with me.
Come with me where the new grass grows,
And buds are bursting,
And the rose
Is pushing from an emerald sheath,
And violets peep from underneath
The wood ferns where the toadstools rise.
Oh, come with me
Where wonder lies,
Where spring is singing, springing,
And each bit of earth
Is soft and tender,
And new birth of beauty
Fills the air.
Oh, come with me and see—
There’s wonder everywhere!
