“The Lion Tamer,” Friend, Apr. 1971, inside front cover
The Lion Tamer
“I’m an angry lion,”
The March wind cried,
And roared a loud roar
With chest-swelling pride.
But the March wind changed
As the month moved by,
And the sun’s warm rays
Caught his roving eye.
Soon the angry lion,
Thoroughly smitten,
Waltzed into April
A tame little kitten.
