Mother
[Children’s Poems]
My mother
Is nice and gay.
She always wants
To play. Sometimes
Though she’s cross
At me, but that is
How a mom should
Be. When I fall
And skin my knee,
Then she’s like
A nurse to me.
She is often by
My side when
I feel lonely
Inside.

My mom is nice, my mom is
Sweet, my mom is truly
A special treat. She’s
Loving and kind and I love her. Her voice is like
A kitten’s purr. How I love
Her—my mother.
