“What Am I?” Friend, May 1977, 33
What Am I?
1. I am not an animal though I have a tail. I am not a ship though I can sail. I have ribs but not a chest. When the wind blows, I’m at my best.
2. I am on heads all over town. And though I don’t rule I have a crown. I may have a band though it cannot play. What can I be? Can you say?
3. I am found in mouse but not in mice. You’ll see me in two but not in twice. I am not in up but I am in down. I am never in city but always in town.
