A New Temple
The house of the Lord is a sacred place,
a refuge from a tattered world.
’Neath the beauty of its heavenward spires
is quiet and holy purpose, where eternal links
in a forever family are forged.
By our giving we have added a part;
a brick, a stone, a sill—not ours alone.
And, oh, the joy and peace to know
we’re ever closer to our celestial home.
Our Heavenly Father loves us all,
more than tongue can say.
And our success is His success,
for so the scriptures tell.
