Jar Lid Skill Game

Jar lid games are fun to make and can be used as gifts or for party favors. You will need: clean mayonnaise jar lid, four or five BB pellets, rubber band, ice pick, glue, scissors, clear food wrapping, and small picture.

  1. Carefully pry cardboard liner from inside jar lid, glue picture to reverse side, and trim to same size as liner.

  2. Poke holes a little smaller that BB pellets through picture and lid liner.

  3. Replace liner firmly inside jar lid with picture side out. Put as many pellets into lid as you have holes.

  4. Spread glue around top edge of upside-down lid. Stretch food wrapping over top to seal in pellets. Slip rubber band around food wrapping and lid to hold wrapping in place until glue dries.

  5. Trim off excess wrapping, and test your skill at filling each hole with a BB pellet.
