Easter Activities

Bunny Basket

You will need: glue, 7 mm black plastic eyes, 3/8″ (1 cm) black pom-pom, 2 1/2″ (6 cm) white pom-pom, scissors, white and pink felt, 2″ x 3″ (5 cm x 8 cm) basket, black crayon, basket grass, and treats.

  1. Glue eyes and black pom-pom nose to white pom-pom.

  2. Cut outer ears from pink felt and inner ears from white felt, then glue inner ears to outer ears (see illustration).

  3. Glue ears at back of white pom-pom. Let dry.

  4. Glue white pom-pom to top back of basket on inside. Hold until dry.

  5. Cut out paws from white felt, color in black pads, and glue to basket (see illustration).

  6. Fill bottom of basket with basket grass, add treats, and your gift is all set!

Polish Paper Cutouts

You will need: paper, pencil, scissors, white paper, and construction paper.

  1. On white paper, trace paper cutting to use as pattern, or create your own Easter design.

  2. For better symmetry, fold pattern in half and cut out design.

  3. Fold construction paper to make card or leave flat for picture, then unfold white pattern and mount on construction paper.
