February
February is a good time
To get a picture book,
Find a cozy place to sit,
And look, look, look!
It’s also a good time
To make a big snowman
And pop a lot of popcorn—
Enough to fill a pan.
The shortest month of the year
Is a favorite month of mine;
I cut and glue fancy paper
To make a valentine.
February is a good time
To call Grandma and say, “Hi!
Why don’t you come for lunch today?
We’re having cherry pie!”
