“Who Am I?” Friend, Aug. 1990, 30–31
Who Am I?
As we journeyed in the wilderness, … there were beasts … of every kind (1 Ne. 18:25).
Instructions: Carefully remove these pages from the magazine, mount them on lightweight cardboard, and cut out the shapes. Read a riddle, then pick out the correct animal.
I swish my food in water;
I dearly love to fish.
My paws look like little hands.
I wear a mask across my face.
Who am I?
I fly in the sky way up high.
I sing whenever I can.
For breakfast I have a big fat worm.
Who am I?
You can find me sunning on a log.
A pond is my favorite home.
I flick my tongue to catch a fly.
Who am I?
I live in a hole
dug in the ground.
I’m as tiny as can be.
I have big round ears
and a pointy little nose.
Who am I?
I live within a little house
that I carry on my back.
Whether on land or sea,
I’m as snug as can be.
Who am I?
