    Mama …

    Yes, sweetheart? Why, you’re crying! What’s wrong?

  3. You know the vase that Digger broke?

    I sure do. I love that animal, but he doesn’t know his own strength.

  4. Digger didn’t break it, Mama. I did. I was pretending to carry water from the well like the Bible women. I’m sorry. I knew that I wasn’t supposed to play with it.

  5. I’m proud of you for telling the truth. That’s another thing that Bible women did, and it’s even more important than carrying water.
