“The World Jesus Made,” Friend, Sept. 1999, 19
The World Jesus Made
I watch the cotton-candy clouds
Floating in the sky.
I make big castles in the sand
And hear the seagulls cry.
I pick white daisies in the field
And watch my puppy play.
I feel the sun so warm and bright
That lights our world each day.
I laugh at little yellow ducks
And swing high on my swing.
I see the fireflies lighting up
And hear the big frog “sing.”
I walk in grass so cool and green,
Eat peaches from our tree.
I love this world He made for us—
It’s just so … heavenly.
