“Out Walking,” Friend, Sept. 2000, 27
Out Walking
I’m taking a walk
To the end of the street.
Nobody knows
What surprises I’ll meet.
I might see a lion
Escaped from the zoo!
I might see a cowboy
Or a pirate or two!
But best of all,
I might even see
My very best friend
Out looking for me!
